David Mitchell has been professionally training horses for close to eleven years. Over the years, David has dedicated himself to the natural horsemanship principles that are so important to the horse and rider alike. There's no need to force, beat or whip your horse to get him to perform with you. Your horse should want to spend time with you to work with you as a partner. David believes in hard work, honesty and clear communication when developing a good relationship with a horse. David and his trainers work with each horse in training five days a week, by starting with them in the arena and then on to the trails! You are more than welcome to stop and ask any of them questions any time you like! Our job is to bring the horse and rider together to the point where they are at the same level when they return home! David believes in getting what you pay for.

Free Trail Rides
You and your family are invited to come and spend the day trail riding on 250 acres with beautiful trails and multiple ponds. We have completed phase one of our trails and would like for you to give us your opinion and suggestions! For the month of September and October every Saturday is free trail ride day at Trugon Ranch! Just give us a call and we'll get you here!

Summer Clinic
Okay! Now it's time to start having some fun now that the heat is coming to a close! If you guys would like to have a horse training clinic where we start by learning some good, safe basics and then move on to some really fun stuff that you can go home and enjoy with your horse, then let's have a horse training clinic! Our most recent clinic on July 10 was a huge success! Everyone came with their horse and we all learned quite a lot and enjoyed the trail ride afterwards! We will also hold a series of General Horsemanship clinics starting in September! We can spend the morning here in our arena, then we can all employ what we have learned on our wooded trails! All of you have been really good to us and we look forward to spending more enjoyable times together in the years to come!
Rates
Our Rates for training are $600.00 per month, which includes hay and feed. We also accept Visa, Mastercard and Paypal! Each horse is fed four pounds of Patriot feed in the morning and four pounds in the evening. We also have them on a round bale and Alfalfa squares bales throughout the training period! Each horse is trained Tuesday through Saturday either in the round pen, arena or out on our trails! You are more than welcome to come out any time on Wednesdays and Saturdays to watch your horses training session or stay all day and watch them all! We look forward to seeing you soon!
